Mindset coaching isn’t about positive thinking or pretending you’re not nervous.
It’s about understanding what’s really happening - in your mind and in your body - when things start to unravel.
Because when you understand the pattern, you can change it.
Together, we’ll look at:
• What triggers your tension, doubt, or freeze response
• How your thoughts and body language influence each other
• Practical ways to calm, reset, and refocus - even in the middle of a ride
• Tools you can use every day to feel calmer, clearer, and more in control
You’ll start to see how the same principles that help you handle a spook, a setback, or a competition can also change how you approach challenges outside the arena.

The same tools that help you stay calm before a competition or enjoy a hack again can also change how you handle pressure at work, set boundaries, or trust yourself in everyday life.

In our sessions, we’ll work together to:
• Understand what triggers your nerves, tension, or self-doubt
• Learn how your thoughts and body patterns interact
• Develop tools to calm, refocus, and reset in real time
• Build lasting confidence, not just “positive thinking”
Sessions are conversational, practical, and always tailored to you. Some riders choose to stay completely off-horse, while others later combine this with riding coaching - it’s entirely up to you.
I understand what happens when things go wrong: the spiral of overthinking, the fear of getting it wrong, the frustration of not being able to explain why it’s happening.
My approach combines years of practical coaching experience with mindset, somatic, and psychological tools that work in real life - not just in theory.
The riders I work with aren’t looking for hype or a quick fix. They want to understand themselves, learn how to reset when things wobble, and get back to enjoying their horses again.
Whether we’re talking through a confidence block, rebuilding after a fall, or tackling life stress that’s showing up in the saddle - my goal is always the same: to help you feel calm, capable, and back in control.
Not at all. Most riders work completely off-horse - this work is about building confidence and calm that carries into everything you do, including your riding.
Absolutely. The same patterns that show up in the saddle (overthinking, tension, self-doubt) often affect work, relationships, and everyday confidence.
It’s simply a relaxed chat to explore what’s going on for you and whether this approach feels like a good fit.
